I am thankful to have my daughter comes to Garton! This is my daughter's 1st year as a 1st grader, had moved from South Carolina which she missed so much! But her teacher Mrs Hegwein is doing a great job! My daughter loves her and enjoys going to school everyday! Everyone in Garton Elementary is doing a good job working side by side to make this school a safe and a fun haven for learning! Appreciates the PTA Staffs who are doing their best for the sake of Garton students! More power to Garton Elementary who deserves to be rated as one of the great school of Iowa!

The school is nice on the outside and nice on the inside

This school is horrible sent a well mannered teenage girl to school sophomore year by senior year she was a stranger, this school is extremely toxic for students with a good head on their shoulders there’s constant bullying online social and societal norms clearly are not taught. I could be a victim of the times but phones and TikTok’s in the classroom because the teachers are not educators they are feeling based school with public funding. Just know sending your child here you sending them to the lions den with steaks for clothes.
