3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teacher-to-student ratio at this school is far too low, making it difficult for students to receive the individual attention and support they need. There are simply too many students for the number of teachers available, which causes important issues to be overlooked. My daughter has been marked absent multiple times despite being present, and these attendance errors have created unnecessary stress and frustration. Accurate attendance records are a basic responsibility of any school, and repeated mistakes can negatively affect a student’s academic record. In addition, my daughter struggled in math and ultimately failed the course, yet she was never offered tutoring, academic intervention services, after-school support, or summer school opportunities that could have helped her improve. Students who are falling behind should be identified early and provided with resources before reaching the point of failure. Instead, it felt as though she was left to struggle without meaningful support. The school also appears to have limited resources, which affects the availability of extracurricular activities. Extracurricular programs are an important part of a student’s educational experience because they help develop leadership skills, confidence, teamwork, and school engagement. Unfortunately, students have very few opportunities to explore their interests outside of the classroom.Another major concern is the professionalism of the main office staff. In my experience, parents are often treated with little respect or consideration. There seems to be very little effort made to build positive relationships with families or address concerns in a helpful manner. Communication between schools and parents is essential, yet that communication is lacking. It is also extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. I have called numerous times and tried multiple extensions, only to have my calls go unanswered. Messages are rarely returned, making it frustrating for parents who are simply trying to stay informed and involved in their child’s education.Overall, I believe the school needs significant improvement in academic support, attendance management, parent communication, and student opportunities. Students and families deserve a school environment where they feel supported, respected, and valued, and unfortunately that has not been my experience.Parent Review1mo ago6 Reviews - Winslow Twp High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not as terrible as people are saying. The school needs full support from students and parents to be successful. I’ve met teachers counselors principal vice principals staff secretaries and they need support too. It takes a village to raise a child. Everyone has to do their part. Period!Parent Review1y ago15 Reviews - Winslow Twp Middle School

"If we have any events, we don’t hear about them. Our house is on the edge of our neighborhood on a busy street so it is avoided asa place to hang out .no children on our street either,so it stays pretty quiet.maybe it will help if they put in sidewalks this spring. "

"The pike is awful during the week from 7am -9am and 3pm -6pm lots of traffic , hard to pull in and out , very loud, fenced yard mandatory if you have pets. Fleas in the area kill cats. But with the grave yard across the street it is quiet at night. "

"We live on a busy street so we do not get foot traffic. No dog walkers because of that. When my dogs get out of my yard all my neighbors are out there looking and catching them just because they love dogs. even around the block and two streets over, everyone are dogs lovers. No barking in my neighborhood either. Very quiet that way."
