I have been happy with the teachers that my child has had at this school. I don't feel like the principal listens to parents. There also seems to be a bullying issue that has continued for awhile that I thought was resolved.

LOVE this school. The teachers and staff are EXCELLENT. Bullying is absolutely NOT tolerated. The Guidance Counselor, Mr, Lebo is active in the class room and discusses this subject with the students. He even knows most of their names. Another student threatened my 9 year old, and told him he wished he were dead. The teacher, principal, and Mr. Lebo were all over this and resolved it to my satisfaction, my son's and even the bully. No problems since then.

I did put three other kids through the Junction City school system. My child started his education in Junction City and the switch to Abilene district was the best decision we made. For academics and social they offer many options for the students. The sports program is outstanding and the best I have seen for any Kansas schools (that I personally have seen).

I have two chldren attending Abilene High School. We had a family tragedy in 2009. The kids got behind in classes, and I feared they would not be able to graduate with their classmates in the years ahead. The personal efforts of teachers, coaches, counselors, parents, students and the principal have been and still are beyond what a parent could expect to help my children succeed.
