So I had $250 to pay for a registration fee for last year which was past due due to a family bereavement issue and I went up there and told them it was to be paid in full in 3 days on Friday and they still wouldn't allow my child to look at her classes physically or see a schedule. Cary grove high School prioritizes money over children's education!! It's not like she's getting anything, she's just seeing her classes and I understand not letting her attend due to payments but just seeing her classes? This is a massive red flag for any school and this needs to be looked at and dealt with but unfortunately it will go unnoticed. They are terrible at dealing with my child's type 1 diabetes and are drastically uninformed calling me about what to do with a low blood glucose from the nurse of all people! Everything is in her 504 plan and she's not allergic to anything so I don't know what's so hard about handing her fruit snacks? My phone number and email is in their system to be contacted in case of anything and yet I do not get phone calls or emails about important events or anything pertaining to payments which is frustrating and grossly negligible, if your child is sick and misses school they send out threatening letters but they prioritize money over education which doesn't make any sense. I would avoid this school if at all possible, This all is very unfortunate because my child's mother is an alumni and we would have loved to keep that going but honestly dealing with this school in this way for so long has me thinking about moving just to be in a different district.

The school was great, it was the principal that's the problem, I heard she almost called the ambulance to send my sibling to a psych ward because she didn't understand something. She also is rude and a very unhappy person to be around. I would recommend to come, but unfortunately she practically runs it.

Excellent school with a caring staff. Everyone is easy to talk to. The school has very few issues and when they do they fix them quickly. I think these scores are very subjective. They also did an outstanding job with the handling of Covid.
