Description

Welcome home to your cozy cabin in the mountains! This home is all rustic charm with an amazing location: it's just 2 minutes off of Hwy 285 on county maintained roads, but you cannot hear or see the highway; 5-10 minutes to 3 grocery stores; 5-15 minute drive to multiple trail systems and parks, including: Beaver Ranch Community Park and Disc Golf, Flying J Ranch, Meyer Ranch, Staunton State Park and more; 20 minute drive to C-470 and less than 1 hour to DIA on most days. This home sits on a quiet, dead-end road and boasts a large, fully-fenced and flat backyard that includes woods and walking/riding trail, plus a fully-fenced pasture and two-stall barn. Outside air temperatures are ideal, consistently 10-15 degrees cooler than Metro Denver. Adjacent to larger plots behind and to the side so you don't see many neighbors. You'll enjoy the mountain serenity alongside of easy access to shops and town.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

"Location and safety of their children. Also the quality of their education. Bringing to the forefront a respect for nature, trees, plants, water and wildlife. Spirituality of common awareness as humans."
  • Charles T.
"I am visiting for a month. In search of a small house between here and Denver. Would be nice to find a place of elevation, with a view of Denver at night."
  • Kaitlyn
"Most people in the mountains have dogs, dogs of larger breeds. Some people let their dogs roam off leash, some dogs run free..."
  • Rebecca C.
"Quiet, wildlife, beautiful mountain view, mountain community, deer! hummingbirds, chipmunk, mountain lions, bears, dog friendly. "
  • Jessica B.

  • Caroline W.
"This area in Conifer is very beautiful, the air is clean, no traffic, hiking , biking, snow shoeing etc, a friendly community, excellent schools, great weather. What else can you ask for."
  • Joe b.
"I love living in Conifer. Awesome schools, excellent quality of life, close enough to Denver so you can commute if you need to."
  • Plecabin
"Easy commute to Denver or mountains in any weather. The roads are well maintain. I've lived here safely and comfortably for 20 years. Great wildlife watching, up to 40 head of elk sleeping in adjoining lots. Walk to grocery RTD Park and ride."
  • mikemfisher
"I've never been happier with a decision in my life than moving to Conifer. The community here is like nothing I've ever experienced, with annual neighborhood block parties, halloween hay rides for the kids, Christmas parades, BBQ festivals, live music. I used to live in a subdivision (in Parker and Superior), and the vibe up here in Conifer is completely different. All of my neighbors would sacrifice their weekend and bend over backwards to help me, and I would do the same for them. If you want to be left alone, there's plenty of space to do that up here. If you want a tight knit community where you know the names of the hardware store employees and see your friendly neighbors at the grocery store, this it it. This really is the perfect place to call home, for all ages."
  • Jan
"Highway 285 is a much better commute to the metro Denver (west)than I70. 40 minutes to Golden, 45 minutes to the airport way on the east side of Denver/Aurora. Easy access to connecting Interstate routes such as C470, I70, I25."
