The small downtown area harkens back to days of old when you knew every store owner, restauranteur, police officer, and firefighter. Neighbor’s help and look out for one another. Cary is not very diverse, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t welcome newcomers. "

I think it's nice that some events are hosted ...but they could be more enticing via marketing and higher budget fests, with rides and fundraisers & the like. "Love downtown Cary, my kids have grown up here and gone all the way through high school. It’s a great place to raise kids and close to the Metra so you can still get downtown when needed. "
