The Little Town of Millican, Oregon, Just 20 miles east of Bend on Highway 20.There is a little ghost town just out of Bend, Oregon called Milican. It is 74+ acres of land that is full of Central Oregon history. The town was named after Andrew J. Millican lived from 1834 to 1907. Once noted for being one of the smallest Post Offices in the world the Millican Post Office only had 12 regular patrons. On September 1st 1940 the Oregonian Newspaper front page above the fold read "Billy Rahn - The One Man Town" he is the only resident of Millican, Oregon. Elevation 4752' Population 1.The town and surounding acres are up for sale. A large portion of the 74+ acres are zoned as Property Class 201-Commercial. This area would be idea for an RV Park. With ample room for pull through spaces and Sunset views of the Cascade Mountains. There are numerous dirt bike trails, shooting range and camp grounds all around the town. Millican sits on Hwy 20 one of only 3 east / west coridors in the state of Oregon. Come take a look at this diamond in the rough. Many people feel that an RV Park and Store would be a hit for this old ghost town. With so many activities in Central Oregon and "Highway 20" being an artery to the east which travels on to Boise area and beond we agree.
