5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome boys do sexual harassment directly and indirectly to girls. I couldn't believe it in the 4th grade. The school has to deal with it as much as they can at least. This is insane in the 4th grade even at school even today.I was on the phone with the principal about it after I stopped by the school. He sounded like he tried to stop and finish the conversation as soon as possible. I understand he could be busy. But I didn't feel like he tried to have an empathy. I felt like that he sounded like why I kept talking and why I was emotional.I guess I should appreciated him to call me back at least in a formal way.I asked him about meeting with me because I'd like to talk with him in person not just over the phone. But he didn't give me any answer. Yes, no or later? No answer about my question. He sounded like avoiding it. I could ask him again. But I just didn't.I was glad the counselor listened to me and had an empathy. I was able to feel and think of her reactions, tone and words sincerely.I guess talking to the counselor could be better if whatever happens later.Who answered my phone sounded like being annoyed to check when the principal would call me back after I stopped by the school. I just called there only once wondering. That's all.Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews - Madge T. James Kind. Center

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWebb City High School does a great job of getting just about everyone involved. There are very few students that aren't involved in something, and while there may be the standard cliques, they don't seem to be that strong. In the end, the community comes out to support the band almost as vigorously as they support the football team. There is an imbalance in the way the football players are treated compared to others, almost to the point that the football players will get a little snobby about it, but they are good. Real good. So to a certain extent, they deserve it. Academics are also taken very seriously at WCHS, with plenty of support for exceptional kids at either end of the spectrum. I do wish that the practice of detention when work isn't completed that was present in the Webb City Junior High would have continued in WCHS.Parent Review15y ago3 Reviews - Webster Primary Center

"I live in this hood and I would totally recommend living here only if you like people who call the cops on you for everything you do. So just make sure your a liberal then you should be ok"

"Like anywhere you take the good with the bad. It won’t take long to figure out if you’re in a bad neighborhood and as long as you stay away from the parts of town that are known for that type of activity it’s a nice place to raise a family. "

"Need a car. Kids are relatively safe, but most neighborhoods are busy road adjacent or don’t have a lot of other kids."

"Joplin is a friendly community to live in, for the most part if you stay out of the parts of town you know are known for having a higher crime rate you’ll be just fine. "
