2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease listen. This school has devolved into a place where if anythings wrong with you, your useless. Here is my opinion on this school and its teachers. There is like 300+ students here, and like 85% assault others and commit battery on a daily basis. The students are in a place where you either are a bully who everyone likes, or your a useless being with no friends. (I am the second.)Teachers don't even do anything about the bullying. I am constantly verbally bullied and i've been victim of around 65 counts of Assault and Battery.Your expected to keep up with 11 Assignments a day, and if you fail any, your dead.If your a parent reading this, DON'T bring your kids here unless you want them to have a high chance of failing, get bullied or become a bully, get no help from the office, and be a jerk/anxious person.I am a student, this is my honest opinion.Student Review2y ago5 Reviews - George Washington High School

"I do not have any personnel knowledge of public transportation as I don’t utilize it but I do know there is a bus stop about a block from our residence. With the change in seasons and time change this weekend, people will be coming out as weather permits. There will a reunion of sorts since we’ve finally ventured out. In the Spring there will be garage sales, summer will have festivities all over the neighborhood & surrounding towns. Fall will welcome kids back to school & winter will have Christmas decorations & lights in the neighborhood "

"Neighbors are all friendly. Summertime there are planned get together and spontaneous gatherings. Kids ride their bikes and the little ones ride trikes or big wheels. There is a mix or generations with young families up to retired people. "

"Nice people, dog friendly and a bit older so kids not around much. Yards are kept up, snow removal becomes a commmunity affair unless snow large amount at one time. Then the paid snow removers are brought in. "

"it's not a safe neighborhood. there are gunshots on a weekly basis. I do not recommend anyone move to this area, especially if they have children. we have seen police presence, high speed chases, drug deals in the street, people walking their dogs off leash. it's not safe."

"Neighbors are friendly and kind. Neighborhood is great for taking walks and bike rides, and only a short 10 minute walk to Newbo. Pleasant neighborhood that I’ve enjoyed living in, however street lights are not always plentiful or working, so walks may be better taken during daylight. Really feel like this area is quaint and quiet, but just needs a little love from the city to give it a facelift. "
