5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could leave 0 stars I would. My has attended the GMP program since the 6th grade here. The GMP program itself is fantastic. That said, this school is terrible with admin that do not care about your students. My son was allowed to be assaulted and bullied all year this year. They claimed they had no knowledge of the bullying that was occuring during school hours on school grounds. A student had to anonymously report it to Safe2Tell to even be on their radar. The Gifted Magnet hall doesn't have as much security as the rest of the building, which is a shame. Your kids aren't held to the same safety as the rest of the school. When we asked the staff, namely the principal how this could happen all year without staff knowledge, since it was physical and during passing periods, she victim blamed my son and said he should have said something. My husband had to go to the area superintendent to even have a meaningful conversation. Once the safety and leadership issues get resolved then Sabin could be a wonderful school, but it kind of sucks this is one of the only options for the GMP kids.Parent Review6mo ago - Mitchell High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would agree Ms. Bair is AMAZING. So, patient and understanding with her whole class! My kiddo struggles with day-to-day behaviors but since being in her class and with help from the principal/assistant principal, counselor, etc. he is able to succeed! They all take their time with him and communicate well with me about any of my children. One of the best schools they have been to and one they have thrived in all because these amazing adults slow down and take the time to listen to them. Plus, not making my kids feel bad for having a rough day is always a bonus! You guys rock. Keep up the good work with these kids. P.S. the counselor is one of a kind! We are involved with lots of outside therapy and as a parent who believes in therapy myself, HE IS AMAZING at what he does, and it shows every time I have an interaction with him or just see him with other students!Parent Review9mo ago
