"Certain parts of Elgin are great then small parts not so much but I give it a 8 out of 10 for also the lack of transportation."

"Dogs are very common in Elgin, and you usually will see plenty of other dogs while you walk your own. It’s nice, good ways to start up conversations and meet your neighbors. "

"Decent neighborhood. Not walking distance to many things but driving distance is decent. Neighbors are nice and well kept grounds in my subdivision. Would recommend for family and friends. Close to expressways and major roadways. "

"Large fancy neighborhood surrounds the area. The townhomes are nice and spacious. The neighbors keep to themselves but are great neighbors and watch for strange vehicles. "
