I was constantly being called at work to take my child a belt...... My child is very thin, and finding fitting clothes was hard. Also, you'll spend a fortune on band equipment and uniforms. They go as far as being extra picky with their shoes! I do not recommend this school at all. My child had the worse experience. She went from getting good grades to suddenly declining very quickly. Your child can get an excellent education without going to a "school for smart children." My child was fearful of her teachers and making any mistakes that could jeopardize her stay at that school. My child was stressed all the time!!!. Take the AP courses and you’ll be college ready, I got accepted into many Cal States and UC schools and I’ve been prepared in my college courses. Enjoyed many of my teachers and the school had an assortment of extra curricular activities. Like any school, the student chooses how their time in high school goes and in which direction they choose. "it's a HOA so they have all kinds of stuff here. Pool, lake, golf, fishing, bars, restaurants, gas, family dollar, little grocery store. It's a cool spot in Silverlakes. must have a guest card to participate in the SL events though. "
