8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at WES has been overwhelmingly positive! What stands out most about Winston is the amount of growth I have seen in my students. I mean, these teachers tracked down EXACTLY what my child was struggling with and we worked on that and then moved on when they finally got it! They're experts at figuring out what each of my children needs and finding the perfect way to help them learn and grow. We’ve seen HUGE improvements in their reading grades. They make sure the kids are challenged, but also always feel supported. Beyond academics, each of children can honestly say they know their teachers care about them. The school also has some very cool events for the whole family! The annual Spooky Literacy Night, for example, was a massive hit—it was wonderful to see the halls transformed into and all the teachers in costumes passing out candy, reading stories, and playing games. We also love the Spirit Day and Field Day events. They go all out and the kids LOVE them.Parent Review7mo ago11 Reviews - Douglas County High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible. The ladies in the office and that area have bad attitudes and hate when it’s time to actually do their jobs. They can be nice but they choose to be hateful. This is excluding the counselors because they’re the only ones who seem to have a heart. Everyone else is just super rude And blame things on you. Teachers and coaches act more like the students friends then the professionals. It’s a little strange I get there can be bonds created but there’s a certain point where it’s ok. Another thing. This school cares more about football and its players more than the actual education. They praise their players more than the students who are getting achievement after achievement. They invest MORE into sports than into education, and their buildings. Which leads into another topic. The state of the buildings that make up the school. It’s like half of the school is kept well nd clean And the other half is completely broken down, worn out,bad electricity and dirty. Bathrooms in some buildings are NASTY! Toilets falling apart, trash everywhere, one is always clogged, and stinks. Not to mention the holes in the walls and flickering lights. Next thing. Their learning environment. They don’t know how to keep their students in check! They’re either fighting, playing around or going from classroom to classroom. Lots of profanity can be heard throughout the hallways ,bullying, conversations about not so appropriate things and kids who seem to think they are grown!! I know the saying “it all starts at home” but dang the school is not helping out either. the school food is said to be terrible, they like to be very petty about things like events, making it very stressful. I have a whole list of things I could keep going on about but please from this alone, just know it’s better to enroll your student somewhere else!!! Please!!!!Parent Review2mo ago22 Reviews - Mason Creek Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Mason Creek, and it has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and very communicative. The teachers have made the transition from elementary to middle school very smooth. My child always expresses how much she really loves the school, and as a parent, that puts my mind at ease. The teachers are approachable and engage in hands-on learning. They keep up with the grades and provide updates when necessary. They also have many clubs and sports to participate in. Also, I enjoy the virtual parent meetings and the information provided in the Wolf Weekly. The staff at Mason Creek is dedicated to the success of students and families.“Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education.” —Martin Luther King Jr.Parent Review5mo ago20 Reviews - Check out schools near 2745 McCrary Dr.

"It’s ok it’s not a lot of things to do around here nor is there any good restaurants here. There aren’t any masjid’s here to worship and pray so that is also a bummer. Outside of that it’s calm and cool. "

"Acess to interstate is very easy and roads are not yet that busy due to the size of the town. It’s an easy 45 min ride to downtown Atlanta and the airport. Also, 30 min to Alabama. "

"I don’t know because I don’t have children. The only thing to look out for are speeders on Conners. There have been several accidents on that road and I often see children walking up and down that road. Otherwise it’s a safe neighborhood for children."

"Lots are small, and the POA makes it incredibly difficult to build a fence. That makes having a dog off leash much harder and less convenient. "
