Worst school ever, completely ruined my life, hardly any real diversity, constant racism, and bullying. They have things called “teams” for not reason, so if you have a friend from 7th grade and go to 8th, you will hardly ever see them again, and it closes you from getting a greater friends group. Block scheduling is also unbearable, as the teachers don’t have a sense of time management.

School lacks any diversity. All diversity in the district is diverted to the other elementary schools. With the lack of diversity, special education students are also not felt welcome in this school. Although the teachers here are great.

What stands out at RFIS first are the wonderful principals. They truly go above and beyond to ensure students safety and emotional well being. The school's class III officer is phenomenal, heavily engaged with the students and friendly with the parents everyday. Those are things you do not experience at most schools. The school includes a diverse group of kids from different backgrounds. Regarding special education; every member of the child srudy team (teachers, SLP, and case manager) are very involved in creating your child's IEP and value parents input. The district has a great superintendent. The only negative about the school is the overwhelming number of students in each grade, and its impact on the teachers.

Excellent education with so many options for students.
