8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagestudent repeatedly threatened people’s lives and didn’t get punished despite multiple witnesses who confirmed what happened. A kid kept slapping my friend’s butt and didn’t get in trouble even though she told the counselor what happened and there were security cameras in the hallway to prove it. I asked to get transferred to a different study hall because I was being bullied and they didn’t let me move even though there was plenty of space in other enrichments. I, someone with very sensitive hearing because of my autism, requested not to be in any sort of music class since it would be overwhelming, yet I got put in music class. Half of the downstairs bathroom locks don’t work and despite MANY people asking them to be replaced they never were. Multiple times people got into fist fights but didn’t get in trouble. One teacher refused to let a kid with an abdominal disorder go to the nurse for medicine. Overall, the school does nothing about bullying, even with evidence. Many teachers refuse to refer to trans kids correctly. There’s often gum and blood in the restrooms that’s not cleaned up. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe UAHS is a lovely school with lots of electives and leadership opportunities. Students have plenty of choices when it comes to what to learn and the athletics program is amazing too. Despite the majority of the UA poulation being white, everyone here is respectful and inclusive. UA is also a very LGBTQIA+ supportive community.
