5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJames B Dudley High School is ranked 321st within North Carolina. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at James B Dudley High School is 35%. The total minority enrollment is 98%, and 100% of students are economically disadvantaged. If this is the snap shop one looks at to determine a school ranking, then you would be fooled. This is not only a school but a special place. As evident by the Annual Consolidated Cook Out that takes place on the campus every summer. Classes from the 60s, 70s, 80s 90s and so on come together and display school pride like no other. This education runs deeper than 4 wonderful years of high school. Extracurricular and athletics is second to none. You don’t have to give the school a chance as it is an honor to attend.Other Review1y ago7 Reviews - Waldo C Falkener Sr Elementary

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy overall experience with this school has been extremely frustrating. It is difficult to have real meaningful conversations about issues because of the school's unwillingness to take responsibility and acknowledge the school is in decline. There is a lack of urgency to shift the school's culture and tackle its issues head on - which ultimately is detrimental to the education of the hundreds of children that roam its halls each day.Parent Review6y ago5 Reviews - Otis L Hairston Sr Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school and even worse staff, a student punched my brother and they didn’t even bother to call he was the one who called my mom to let her know I got there and he was in a classroom by himself nobody was watching him making sure he was okay took him to the hospital and the nurse called the police who recommended that we press charges against the kid and the school before doing that I called the school hoping that they would explain what had happened or apologized or something all I got was a very dismissive attitude from the principal saying that they were kids and they were always going to fight. My brother didn’t get into a fight he was attacked came to find out that the same kid had done the same thing to another female student and nothing was done about it. So why do you want to have your kid in a school like that?, it can be a magnet school and all you want but they could care less about their students and their safety while in there.Other Review9mo ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 2707 E Lee St.

"Greensboro is not the best place to live that’s for sure. Way too much crime. You don’t feel safe really anywhere. The weed smell literally just driving down the street is awful. Whoever is in charge of Greensboro really needs to do something it’s going downhill fast"
