My experience at this school has been deeply disappointing. Student behavior presents significant challenges, including frequent classroom disruptions, disrespect toward staff, inappropriate language, conflicts between students, and a lack of respect for personal boundaries. These issues often make it difficult to maintain a productive learning environment.In my experience, behavior interventions are not consistently supported outside of school, which can limit their effectiveness. As a result, teachers spend a considerable amount of time addressing behavioral concerns rather than focusing on instruction.Academically, many students require substantial support, and the pace of instruction is often slower than expected in order to meet students' needs and manage classroom behavior. While there are dedicated staff members working hard to support students, the overall environment has not been conducive to effective teaching and learning.Based on my experience, I would not recommend this school to prospective teachers or families seeking a strong academic and behavioral culture.

I would not recommend Torrance Elementary for students with disabilities.In my experience, information provided by school admin and staff about inclusion and my child’s services did not match the facts and evidence I had as a parent. Communications and records contained inaccuracies, and concerns I raised were not addressed.Additionally, I was not given meaningful opportunity to participate in IEP meetings and decisions regarding my child’s education.Families of students with disabilities deserve accurate information and the right to participate fully in their child’s education planning.

i went to this school and when i tell you the faculty could care less than they do, i swear by it. they truly are worried more about their paychecks than the well beings of the students and as a student who was going through SO much it was so exhausting to be in this learning environment. PLEASE ENROLL YOUR KIDS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!
