4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWARNING WARNING. Kids first orientation day was met with people walking around the school with "Squirt guns" spray shooting freshmen kids. Who in their right mind though that was a good idea? No excuse for anything being pointed at the kids in this fashion. Bad decisions by faculty. Someone should have to explain this but the schools own Facebook website shut off comments and doesn't let the community speak on social media. Out of 10 deans and principles, not one thought this was a bad idea. Even after a year of gun threats at this school with a loaded gun found in the bathroom.....HOPE THE RIGHT PEOPLE SEE THIS.Parent Review8mo ago15 Reviews - Glenn Westlake Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here, I graduated recently. Yeah, I used to be pretty depressed and I’m only good because I studied. Honestly, I was a straight A student and on the honors for the whole time I was there, (mind you I was pretty ahead of my class) and got recommended, yet I was never recognized and put up with a higher class. I used to be depressed (I think it was pretty obvious as I would cry in the bathrooms and come out all puffy eyed and red) and no one even noticed. no one ever knows or cares unless your popular- The popular kids are rude, but the more “outcasted” kids if you’ll call them that are nice. My sister goes there now and it’s actually pretty much the same. Bad and good.Other Review1y ago11 Reviews - Pleasant Lane Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePleasant Lane is a great school, both my kids attended and came out well rounded and more than ready for middle schools. Classrooms are automated, lots of new computers, Project Expand for high perfoermers, new wing to the school added a year or two ago and some great new teachers.Parent Review15y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 27 W Grv #3E.

"No dog parks surprisingly, but overall there are a lot of people in the community with dogs so you’ll usually see someone else walking or playing with their dog"

"I see people walking their dogs all the time. One of the concerns, especially with small breeds is the possibility of wildlife encounters, such as coyotes or foxes, both of which are natives to this area. "

"I have seen dogs being walked all the time. Dogs unleashed are common but can be a problem. Dogs rule the land. Wild crazy packs of rabid monsters kill cats and have attacked babies in strollers. Don ‘ t bring dogs here"
