"The area is a mountain community. So its all about outdoors, hiking, playing, fishing. No night life. Mountains I perfer not to drive or be out at night. I hoped I would see more wildlife but havent. Town has all the basic stores, food & hardware."

"People walk their dogs often and the dogs are happy and friendly. There is very little traffic and the roads are paved and easy to walk, whether you’re going up the hill or back down. A great neighborhood!"

"Always (40 years) wanted to live here, and two years in residence ha proven my instincts were correct. This area, its people and geography allow any perfect life-style a person could want. Persona and property safety and security ma be the best in the USA. Great, most-excellent schools and opportunities for children. Recreation opportunities are of every type within walking distance; daily life here is recreation in itself."

"We bought here in Fortenberry Creek Retreat about a year ago. We love it here. We have beautiful mountain views & all of peace and quit we could ever want. We hike right out our back door, it is like having the mountains all to ourselves. The only regret we had was that we didn't find this place sooner."
