Description

I am looking to sublet my townhouse in the Southpoint Apartments for the month of June. My girlfriend and I will be moved out by May 25th so the unit will be available starting the last week of May if you would even like to move-in a bit early. We have lived here for two years, have taken great care of the place, and have absolutely loved it!

This townhouse has 2 floors with a large bedroom and full bathroom upstairs, and a kitchen, living room, and half bathroom downstairs. Each unit has its own entranceway and there is private backyard area that that opens to a larger grass field. The Southpoint Apartments are right on the 31 bus line (comes every 15 minutes) and this particular unit is as close as you can be (~50 ft) to the bus stop. Laundry facilities and trash dumpsters are also conveniently ~50ft away.

We can move our larger furniture (e.g., bed, desk, tables, couch, etc.) out of the apartment before you move-in or at the end of June so that you will be living in a furnished apartment. We are also happy to leave our kitchen appliances, dishes/silverware, and outdoor furniture/propane grill for you to use. These 1-bedroom townhouses are in very high demand with a limited supply so, if you are interested in a longer-term lease lease, I could talk to the owners about giving preference to someone who could take over the lease in June.

Price reflects the rent for one month (same amount we pay). All utilities are included except for cable/wifi and electricity. Willing to negotiate on payment for these.

    "I drive but I know a lot of people around the area who take the bus which runs pretty decent. But a lot of things are outside of town if not 15-30 minutes away. "

    "Very much a college town that has a lot of families that are also living within the time. The schools are great. But there are no commercial business ie mchdonalds, Burger King, no grocery store either. But they are some the next town over. "

    "A quiet, private location great for kids and pets, and parents who want their kids to go out and play. Abuts (9th?) fairway and hole of Hickory Ridge CC (XC skiing out your back door). Look for wild chives, turtles, muskrats and garter snakes along banks of Plum Brook, which winds through north section of property. Most of soil on property has high clay content. Originally had (perhaps still has?) a working fireplace in the half-cellar (an underground spring precluded a full cellar). Lots of space in attic. Hallway in the bedroom 'wing' was long and wide - perfect for games like Mother-May-I, RedLight/ GreenLight, and Walk the Walls. Short walk to Mission Cantina, Moan & Dove, PVTA stop, gym, and Pre-through-6 schools. A snowplow, chainsaw and ride-on lawnmower are highly recommended. "
