About this House

This very large and spacious two bedroom flat, plus small office, is on the lower level of a 1920's duplex near Lake Merritt. South-west facing rooms have a beautiful view of the lake overlooking a small park, with amazing sunset views. All rooms, except the laundry room and the bathroom, have gleaming oak hardwood flooring and nine foot high ceilings.

The apartment has recently been completely repainted and updated. It has a lake view living room, an entry hall, a formal dining room with fireplace, a large kitchen, two very large bedrooms and a small office off the dining room. The apartment is approximately 1485 SF and feels like a house, with light and space on all four sides. it has a sunny lake view patio in the front, a private driveway with tandem parking for two cars, and a fenced rear garden. ** Please note the outdoor spaces are shared with the occupants of the upper flat and the rear garden cottage.

The kitchen has recently been remodeled with new cabinets, stone countertops, appliances (dishwasher) and hardwood flooring. The bathroom has also recently been remodeled with a marble topped double vanity, tile floors, a new toilet and claw foot tub. The rear laundry room has level access to the rear garden, new linoleum and paint, and front loading LG washer /dryers. The two bedrooms are very large, suitable for king beds or two twin beds; one bedroom has a walk-in closet. There is another large closet in the hall outside the bathroom.

Rent includes garbage service and tandem parking for two cars. All other utilities (EBMUD, PGE, internet) are separately metered and paid by tenant. One year lease, cat or small dog negotiable with an additional damage deposit. This is a no smoking building. The security deposit is $3900.
