My kids learned a lot while going to MIS. They never complained about the teachers or the school. They seemed to enjoy their time there and anytime I had a question the staff was responsive.

This school is horrible. My daughter has been getting bullied and harassed everyday at school. It happens offline,online, at school and out of school. The girl doing the bullying has not faced any consequence whatsoever. Its causing emotional distress. they wont let her have a 504 and IEP despite having depression, anxiety , taking medication for it and suspected bipolar. they dont fix any problem and she gets discrimated against by boys at school.

Horrible administration. They will do anything they can to make a parent feel uncomfortable if they deem you have a “problem child”. They do absolutely nothing to help kids that are falling behind or may need additional assistance. They also do not follow IEP for students. We will be pulling our child at the end of this year and transferring our child to another school because of how awful our child’s first couple years of experience were at this school. I’d highly advise you ask other people what they think because this school has a reputation.

I moved to Minooka for the schools. It kinda reminded me of an early Plainfield. Then plainfield became overcrowded in the schools and bussed in low income from other areas. There is a lot of favoritism in the Minooka school system and the surrounding areas as well. Worst decision I made was to move to this school district.
