About this House
Large and full of character. Huge kitchen with dining area and loads of storage. New granite counters, 40-inch cabinets, large pantry. You will have room on the counter for that mixer if desired, or keep it in a cabinet with ample space - no need to dig it out when needed. After enjoying a meal cooked on your new stove, throw the dishes in your brand new dishwasher, wander into the giant living room. Oh, you forgot to do laundry? Go upstairs, grab it from one or both of the two bedrooms, and pop it in the washer without even carrying the load downstairs. The new washer and dryer are tucked neatly away in a closet between the bedrooms. While upstairs, maybe stop for a nap - the bedrooms are wonderfully comfy and bright with large windows and neighborhood views. The sloped attic ceilings and refinished original floors provide lots of charm. One bedroom has a very large closet and extra space, while the smaller, still very much a real bedroom, has its own half bath. The large retro full bath includes both a tub and separate shower, new granite counter, large mirror, and vintage chrome features.
On the KWT border, this quiet and friendly neighborhood has lots of amenities. Public library and PS 130 lower school one block away, with the upper school, MS 839, and Brooklyn Prospect Charter school just a little farther. 5 minute walks to restaurants like Hamilton's, La Loba, Werkstatt, and Wheated; great bars including The Adirondack and Hinterlands; take out options including Brancaccio's Food Shop among many others. Coffee? How about Steeplechase, Windsor Coffee, or Der Pioneer. And of course, the crown jewel, Prospect Park a quick 0.5 mile away. Minutes to F at Ft. Hamilton Pkwy, or to the F Express at Church Ave in the other direction.
