4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSpent two years dealing with this school. Had a couple of great home room teachers, but not so great teachers when classes switched for different subjects. Safety of students seems to be on the low end, especially during drop off and pick up times at the school. A welcoming attitude toward parents and parental involvement is even lower. The lowest of all is the extreme lack of communication about anything. Definitely glad we are not at this school anymore.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - North Belton Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child rarely had homework or any studying that was strongly encouraged. (One math teacher often sent things). Since entering BISD, we’ve noticed there is not a push for students to excel unless it’s test time for Star. There are no parent-teacher conference dates, nor are there report cards sent home. It’s always, “Just check skyward.” But it would be great to get an individual, flagged emailed with an announcement saying, “End of quarter grades have been posted!” It would be good for students, parents, and teachers. As a substitute teacher, i have seen that phones are a problem, as well as iPods. Some teachers let them slide. Without a group consensus and group effort, it’s not seen as a rule by the kids. Hoping I can have more involvement and voice in the year to come.Parent Review5y ago6 Reviews - Lake Belton High School

"Love the town. I think it will be changing a lot in the years to come. We have an older but quiet neighborhood, smaller homes here but neighbors are great. Been here for a few years now. "

"Everyone has seemed friendly and approachable even during these trying times. There are a ton of children in the neighborhood where we're staying. This makes for a happy place. However, these days you still have to remain vigilant and watch your children closely because it just takes a second and there could be a lifetime of regrets. "

"Very dog friendly, numerous people walking their dogs at morning and evening. Though not uncommon to see dogs walked without a leash if that bothers you. Owners tend to pick up their pets waste as well. "
