Most homes in Ellington have sufficient property to allow the dog to have plenty of outdoor space roam. There are also a number of hiking trails in the area that allow well behaved dogs on a leash."

Neighbors are close enough to be friendly with but the lots (on most streets anyway) are at least 1-2 acres so they aren't right up next to you. The schools are wonderful, the community is very welcoming, and it's less than 30 minutes away from 2 malls, so it's convenient but still maintains a great country feel. I'm SO glad we moved here. I've never heard anyone say they didn't love it, and I hope I never have to move!"
