8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a nightmare if you're a brown student. You're constantly started at, whispered about, and treated like you don't belong. The subtle bullying is everywhere, but when we say something to any white kid even if it doesn't affect them we are reported and are told their too sensitive, and we get in trouble.Meanwhile, white students say and do mean things to each other it's considered as oh it's just friends joking. No one reports them or punishes them. But if we speak up or complain, suddenly we're the problem. They put up flags from every country and talk about diversity, but it's all for show. The school doesn't actually care about treating everyone fairly. If you want a place where students of color are respected and supported this isn't it.Student Review11mo ago13 Reviews - Whittier Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad four children attend Whittier over a span of 14 years & this elementary school is by far the best out of the schools they've attended. They had excellent teachers, appropriate levels of homework, discipline, activities, etc. The parents are involved without controlling. Overall an excellent 6 years for each of my kids. The school rating was historically 9/10 & I was interested as to why it had been lowered - then I discovered the new diversity factor that is now included in the score (4/10). This factor cannot be controlled as Whittier's student population is drawn from the neighborhood/area surrounding the school.Parent Review6y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 25W100 Fairmeadow Ln.

"Here at Benedetti drive in Naperville I know that has a lot of babies and little kids, but people barely go outside. I know because I see sometimes those families in the parking lot going out with their cars; but they don’t walk with their kids. "
