We have been thrilled with our experience at Park View Elementary School, where my child has been a student since kindergarten. We gladly make the drive every day, even though it's not our home school, because the environment is so nurturing and inclusive.The dedicated teachers genuinely care about the students' academic and emotional well-being, consistently going above and beyond their job descriptions to help the kids succeed. They provide engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and ensure that each student feels valued. Additionally, the yard supervisors do an amazing job ensuring the kids' safety. They connect with all the students, know their names, and treat them as if they were their own, showing they truly care about their well-being.Park View has also been adding more family-focused events, such as the recent "Lunch with a Loved One" for Valentine's Day. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday with my son while he was at school and foster connections among families.The inviting Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fosters a strong sense of community, organizing events that bring families together. The school also offers fantastic after-school programs free of charge, allowing kids to explore their interests and develop new skills.With a focus on character development that promotes kindness and respect, along with well-maintained facilities and excellent communication, Park View Elementary is a fantastic place for children to learn and thrive. We highly recommend it to any parent seeking a supportive educational environment!

The school does not do enough to include students who are not always engaged on campus.

Sinaloa Middle School. Esta escuela enfrenta problemas serios que no solo afectan el aprendizaje, sino también la seguridad y bienestar de sus estudiantes. A continuación, detallo algunos puntos alarmantes que necesitan atención urgente:Acoso escolar (bullying): El bullying es común y constante. Muchos estudiantes sufren acoso verbal, físico y psicológico, y lamentablemente no se ve una intervención clara por parte del personal para prevenirlo o detenerlo.Consumo de sustancias dentro del campus: Es evidente el uso de vapeadores y otras sustancias por parte de estudiantes, incluso dentro del plantel durante el horario escolar. Esto no solo afecta la salud de los estudiantes, sino que también crea un ambiente inseguro para quienes sí desean estudiar.Falta de respeto y comportamiento violento: Hay reportes de estudiantes que son forzados a entrar a los baños por otros compañeros de forma agresiva, y en algunos casos se pierde contacto con ellos por un tiempo. Estos actos de intimidación son extremadamente graves y representan un riesgo real.Desinterés del profesorado: Varios maestros no toman medidas ante estos comportamientos. Permiten que los alumnos falten el respeto tanto a sus compañeros como a ellos mismos, sin imponer consecuencias. Esto debilita la autoridad en el aula y contribuye al caos general.Dirección inadecuada: El director no muestra empatía ni compromiso con la comunidad estudiantil. Durante los almuerzos, se ha escuchado gritar a los estudiantes diciendo que "si no les gusta la escuela, que se larguen", una actitud completamente inapropiada para alguien que debería liderar con respeto y fomentar un ambiente educativo positivo. Parece más interesado en mantener su salario que en mejorar la educación y seguridad en la escuela.Sinaloa Middle School necesita urgentemente una revisión profunda de sus políticas de seguridad, disciplina y liderazgo. Es inaceptable que en un país como Estados Unidos, donde el acoso escolar ya es un problema grave, se permita que estas situaciones continúen sin control.Los estudiantes merecen aprender en un entorno seguro, respetuoso y saludable. Ojalá esta reseña sirva como un llamado a la acción.
