8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHORRIBLE! i mean like i cant even find words to describe this horrendous staff at this school, the lunch ladies are nice so are the janitors but the Ap they will mentally abuse kids to the point the kids go depressed, I have talked to other students too and their parents is always getting calls from the school about minor issues that does not need any type of attention, they twist the students words and lie to the parents so in that way the student does not have anyone to defend their ground, and NO they will not care about students grades at all, instead they care more about if they like you or not, once they start targeting students they will basically ruin the chances of the student going to a good college by destroying the students record by giving them suspensions, refferals so and so, so no please do not enroll any students in this school and the principal does not care about what is going on either so please dontOther Review8mo ago19 Reviews - Jackson Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo communication with the school, some of the teachers are rude and lack compassion. They seem to be burnt out. I just feel God forbid if you really needed to talk to a principal or a teacher they’re always going to be unavailable to answer your questions. They might call you back two or three days later unacceptableParent Review2mo ago15 Reviews - Northbrook Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had high expectations after coming from Jackson, and we have not been disappointed. The principal of NB is constantly present and engaging with parents, staff and students. Parental engagement is encouraged and there are regular opportunities for parents to participate in student learning. This school houses the Gwinnett County School Police Office so we feel very safe. The teachers are fantastic and the different teams really do work as a team. I appreciate being informed with weekly newsletters and progress reports, students are able to retake most assignments to try to improve their grades. They focus on learning the material not making a perfect score the first time. This school has so many opportunities and resources for students. I was very impressed with the list of connections they have to choose from and the equipment available to them. They have a laundry list of clubs as well. This year they have gone on several field trips and have done a few large group research projects that are then judged by parent volunteers who attend the presentations as well as teachers for the whole grade. It really feels like this school is already looking ahead for college not just high school.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 2541 Bechers.

"They would love living here there are other animal lovers everywhere and would not have to worry about it not being pet friendly. However, people are very particular about making sure you are cleaning up after yourself. "

"Some dog owners allow their dogs to run free through the neighborhood and treat the neighborhood as their own personal bathroom. Other neighbors are very diligent about having their dogs on leashes and picking up after them. It’s truly half and half."
