"I donโ€™t know any special things. I just live here because itโ€™s cheap for my family. Iโ€™m sure there are plenty of activities. "
  • RO Resident
"Weโ€™ve had a mixed experience living in this neighborhood. On the positive side, itโ€™s a beautiful, established area with mature trees and a surprising amount of wildlife. There are also a few truly kind and welcoming neighbors who make a real effort to build community. That said, the overall environment can feel very tense. Some neighbors are quick to report minor issues, and there seems to be a strong focus on enforcement rather than communication. Weโ€™ve experienced situations where concerns were escalated to the city almost immediately, rather than neighbors talking directly with each other first. For example, after a storm knocked down a tree on our property, we received a notice to remove it within 30 daysโ€”but it was difficult to even get a tree service scheduled in that timeframe. Situations like that can feel frustrating, especially when youโ€™re already dealing with unexpected damage. There have also been instances where notes were left rather than having a conversation, which can make the neighborhood feel less welcoming. Overall, itโ€™s a visually lovely neighborhood, but the experience can depend heavily on neighbor interactions. For those considering moving here, it may be worth understanding the expectations and level of enforcement ahead of time."
