"Quiet neighborhood, easy access to stores etc. within 20 minutes of pretty much everything. Malls, downtown etc"
  • David
"I have been here for 22 years....wouldnt live anywhere else. convenient to downtown Nashville. and shopping in Providence"
  • Wen
"We moved here just about a year ago and we could not be happier! The neighborhood is lovely, friendly and safe. We are close enough to shopping and restaurants, yet hidden away from the traffic and less scenic views. "
  • Jennifer C. W.
"We chose to move to the area because of the family friendly and safe neighborhood, the good schools, and the quiet suburb. We moved because of a job transfer, otherwise, we would have retired there."
  • Carol W.
"I've lived here almost 5 years. Nice, quiet neighborhood in Wilson County. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping in Davidson and Wilson County."
  • Barbi F.
"This is a great area to live in. Actually, some parts of Old Hickory are closer to Mt Juliet and really should have a MJ address. My phone # and many other services are supplied by MJ. This whole area has so much to offer. It's called the Greenhill Community. It's very low in crime, and it's growing rapidly, so there's always something to do. It's family friendly, there are new businesses popping up everywhere, but the old ones are great too! Lots of antique shopping always available. Many places to launch a boat or have a picnic with ducks to feed. Black Jack Cove is around the corner, and it's still close enough to Nashville that you can go into the city for some fun too. I'm so glad I live here!"
  • Teresa
"There are nice areas that are in the Old Hickory zip code but not part of the old Lakewood / DuPont neighborhoods that leap to mind when one thinks of Old Hickory. I live in an area that is extremely desirable, safe and wonderful to live in. "
