I Kinda Hate Living In The Block Of This School Because I Hear To Much Screaming And The Police Has To Be By My Block Every Time The High Schoolers Come Out So They Can Avoid Fights Between The Students.Other Review11y ago2 Reviews - Mckay Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school's performance has been extremely concerning. My child was neglected, denied water, and not provided with any meaningful education. I have documented evidence of these incidents on a device I sent to the school. Even during a season when hydration is crucial, my child was not given water. Moreover, the teachers ignored my child and, in some cases, used force to teach him. These experiences caused significant emotional distress for my son. It's disappointing to think about how many other children, especially those from minority backgrounds, might have been negatively affected by this school's inadequate service. As a result, I decided to withdraw my son from this school. They refuse to mark. Him as homeschooling. Thus creating a "cps" situation I'M sure they are itching to achieve. Let this be known he's been in home school for 3 years. It's my choice. The system is BROKEN. Do not recommend. You take a chance.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 2517 W 69th St.

"The neighbors watch what goes on and look out for each other. The neighbors notify and cooperate with the police. I have lived in this community for over twenty one years and have watched the changing demographics. The neighborhood was very diverse with senior citizens and incoming new families with young children. Those children grew up and those neighbors are retired now. Some sold their homes and moved to warmer climates. Some sold their home and moved in with their children. Some sold their homes and went to senior citizen housing. Some passed on and their children sold their houses. Twenty years ago, we started a neighborhood association (block club). Everyone in the community do not have a block club, but the ones that do or did had more involvement and a greater sense of community. All the neighbors knew each other and looked out for each other. "There is no Parking available unless you make it home before 4:00 pm.. everyone looks out for each other children and the school is very good they really care about the kids.. all of the single family homes have more than three cars parked on each block even though they have a garage and a drive up.. this makes things more Dudu out for others "

"It’s not a very safe area to live in especially at night. I would not trick or treat here, leave cars unlocked, house door unlocked or would not let my kids play outside alone. So far, the area is cleaning up and more friendlier neighbors are moving in."

"The commute is great ! We have the train and bus excess 24 hours! I personally don’t use public transportation, I drive. But the neighbors here have 4 to 5 families living in their houses and apartment, with more than 3 cars each! Parking is terrible!"
