the school is horrible for a child with diabetes, the teachers are uneducated about the disease and when the 504 plan is done, most do not show up for the meeting. My daughter has been here 3 years now and out of 5 or 6 teachers she is lucky to have 1 a year that sees her potential.

I've been bullied for two years here and they have done nothing food thrown at me kids hitting me and making fun of me having cancer the worst high school in rockford

When you're trying to explain something to the assistant principal they turn around and switch your whole entire conversation and say that I resigned from all RPS district 205 and I did not. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to the school why because for someone to come and help out at their school and for them to disrespect me like that isn't okay and they also need a lot of staff there because they're understaffed. Moving forward when you have paraprofessionals that are there helping you with the students that are pretty difficult to deal with when you have a situation where the student is not getting along with the teacher you need to have a meeting to where that they can sit around at the table and discuss about it instead of making assumptions and don't even know the full story I didn't even talk to the main principle no one hasn't even called me back it's the next year. Very unprofessional at Whitehead elementary .I have three kids and I don't even know why I lost my job. The teacher that I was dealing with that I was helping her out with in the class she was very rude to me she talked to me like I was a child. The teacher literally disrespected me on a daily basis if something wasn't going her way and that is not okay and it's not okay to disrespect the kids and to belittle them just because you're the teacher of the class I pretty much accepted the fact that I won't work for a school anymore and I've even changed lifestyles because of this school literally for the best I just don't want to deal with anything else or a job that requires drama because I am out of high school and I I'm pretty much older than the teacher that I was dealing with so you might as well say I was dealing with someone that has a lot of growing up to do. This is not a great school.
