6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was honestly not a great experience. The rules were strict, but the staff barely showed respect to the students themselves. A lot of the teachers acted like they didn’t care whether students succeeded or not, and asking for help usually felt pointless. The environment was chaotic because many students were disrespectful and constantly causing problems, which made it hard to focus or feel comfortable at school. Instead of trying to improve the atmosphere, the administration mostly just handed out punishments and acted rude. Overall, the school felt negative, unorganized, and exhausting to attend every day.i believe there was also a lot of safety violations.Other Review2w ago10 Reviews - Houston Math Science And Technology Center

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn the past two years, two students from this school were accepted and reported to the United States Military Academy at West Point. That school has a 7% acceptance rate. This tells me that if students apply themselves, it doesn't really matter what you they attend. The faculty members with whom I speak with genuinely care about the mission here and that is to produce graduates who are ready to contribute to society. I'm proud of that. Despite the challenges, we are here everyday to develop young people who will be the leaders of tomorrow.Teacher Review1y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 250 Cooper Rd.

"This neighborhood has a bad reputation because of the surrounding areas that are well lit with crime, but this neighborhood is actually very quiet, wholesome, friendly, and active. People go on walks and even bring their kids to walk with them. There aren’t very many people in this area that you don’t see on a regular basis. The people that live here are known well and are genuinely nice people all around. "

"This area is mostly elderly people and with the apartments “la casita” is not safe anymore, too many gunshots at night and during daylight. We need more police patrols in the area. "

"I’ve lived in this side of town for around 15 years. It’s a high crime area. The schools are below standard. Lots of littering and people that don’t care about the environment they live in. Lots of stray animals. We hear gun shots a minimum of once a week. "

"There are aggressive strays everywhere. People don't care about their dogs around here. They either keep them chained up or leave them to fend for themselves and get hit by cars. This is not a safe neighborhood to walk your dog in. "

"very easy. Bus 56 goes to Northline Transit Center then to TMC Transit Center. And the bus stops very close to my house. If I go by car, Traffic lights are well timed to allow minimum number of stops when traffic is light early in the morning."

"Living in Northside Northline has many benefits. You have access to most freeways to get around town, there are so many great Mexican restaurants and taquerias nearby, the area has become increasingly desired to live in so it is difficult and/or expensive to find property here. I have lived here all my life and I love it here and I look forward to buying another property in the area in the near future. JG."
