"The roads get a little busy but if there’s a lot of traffic people are kind enough to let you through. "
  • Alyssa H.
"Nice, small town. Friendly neighbors. Community events like parades and car shows now and then. Close knit community but welcoming to newcomers. The local library is great with the YMCA and park nearby. you get the feeling of being out in the country while also having several amenities just around the corner."
  • Alyssa H.
"I've been renting here for a year. the neighborhoods are quiet and well maintained. It a great community. I especially like events at the public library or the local craft shops."
  • Sharon F.
"The block party is always free fun for families, and I’m December we host a “Christmas in the Grove” in the downtown area. Horse and buggy rides, not chocolate, shops are open...it’s a laid back, Christmas-y event that’s fun for the whole family. "
  • Deo H.
"Great school system ,low crime, friendly neighborhoods. Not far from anything. 30 minutes from Charlotte,."
  • Kellie G.
"While it’s an overall safe place to live, there are still quite a few people coming and going and so it’s important to stay vigilant. There aren’t really any public parks. The closest one is probably Rockwell Park which is really nice but about 20 minutes away. Sloan is also really nice. There are a lot of older neighborhoods, but also some newer ones. A lot of the area is farm land. Patterson Farms is not too far away and is a fun place for families to pick strawberries in the late spring/early summer, and go to the pumpkin patch in the fall. They also have a market that is open year round. Overall, China Grove is a nice little town."
  • Peggy B.
"It is a great neighborhood for all pets. We even have a dog bar here now. People pick up after their animals, and are very respectful of their neighbors."
  • Faithsstroud
"No sidewalks here and lots of traffic. This neighborhood could use sidewalks. There is also a train track that is active several times a day and night. "
  • J K.
"Lots of restaurants, shops, and schools. Small town atmosphere but 30 minutes from Winston Salem and Charlotte... Easy freeway access. Great place to live and raise children."
