I attended Gardner Road during my school years and alot has changed since then. I now have two children attending and i couldnt be more happy at all the positive changes there has been at the school. The principal is great with the kids and they do alot of activities with the kids. As well as extra academic help if need be. We love being Gardner Road Golden Stars!!

Intensive scheduling where half the semester was literally retaking old tests taught me how to take a test, but was a HUGE setback in effectively writing papers, problem solving, or learning much more than how to take a test. If the district hasn't done away with it, DON'T let your children be roped into the Regents program!

Bus drivers are horrible at their jobs, can't handle kids and they become very chaotic, their drop off and pick up system MAKES kids late, they have too short of a 10th period and no one is allowed to leave (even an instrument pass), multiple teachers leave the classroom and leave kids alone, multiple bullying/attempted bullying incidents (including myself), multiple fights (a kid got hit in the head with a metal water bottle and continued to come to school not even a week later), they rarely update their website, they had a teacher who was retired come back because they didn't have enough teachers instead of having a substitute, and overall is just a bad school.
