About this House

NEW to the market in Old Saybrook is this Like-New Ranch within minimal walking distance to Main Street! This home is meticulously cared for with many desirable (recent) upgrades. Gleaming hardwood floors throughout the entire main level, a spotless kitchen featuring Granite countertops and a generously sized island for gathering, newer appliances, custom cabinetry, and a dining room that was a new addition in 2018 w/ vaulted ceilings adding plenty more living space on the main level. New HVAC system installed in 2015; Propane Heat/Central A/C w/ programmable thermostats, on demand propane hot water, and this home was gutted down to the studs w/ all new wiring & insulations exceeding building code req's at that time. Primary BR, BR, and full bath complete the main level. Downstairs is another full bath, bedroom, and an incredible finished bonus space to become whatever you desire - home occupation allowed per zoning! Laundry room also is located in the lower level, and interior access to the garage, plus is walks out to the driveway. New fence installed in 2023 offering a private backyard, 10 year old roof, 10 year old windows, and a new septic tank in 2017! This is truly one you don't want to miss!

"Itโ€™s a safe town, good schools. A lot of different activities and programs available for kids from toddlers to high school. The schools are located in convenient safe areas of the town. Lower traffic areas. Pedestrians are plentiful and kids riding bikes to and from school. Several beaches that are great for family gatherings as well as private time to yourself. Everything you need to bring your family up in a quiet shoreline community. Public transportation is available with a trolly during the months of spring and summer. The library is conveniently located next to the elementary school. Plenty of in town shopping available and plenty of great restaurants. Ice cream as well. "
