"No sidewalks, but not much traffic either. Safe, fresh, rural. Family, hard working Maine people. Sense of community. "
  • Daniel G.
"Safe, great area for kids to play and get fresh air. Fish, sail, walk, beach....and much more. A little community off the beaten path."
  • Misti By the Sea
"Great outdoor activities. Sailing, boating, fishing, walking, running, biking, gardening, lighthouse, beaches. A tiny sleepy town with so many hidden treasures to find."
  • L P.
"Cape Jellison is a beautiful area of Stockton Springs, situated in the bay at the mouth of the Penobscot River. There's an abundance of beautiful forests, ocean water, lake ponds, cooling breezes, wildlife, blackberries and blueberries (!) and mountains to climb. It's peaceful and you feel like you're in the most beautiful place in the world. It's only 20 minutes to get to Belfast (going south,) and about 50 minutes to get to Acadia National Park and Mt. Desert Island (going north.) Sears Island is just 10 minutes away and is a beautiful place to go on walks with your dogs."
