  • Jordin Henry
"There are lots of fenced in yards that are spacious so yes but some neighborhoods tend to be a little messy so you’ve just gotta be careful."
  • Cindy T.
"Bumpy. Lots of pot holes and uneven paved roads. There are also a lot of jay walkers and people who just stand in the road. "
  • Shelbylynnsld7
"Pontiac is scary, I don’t recommend families move here. People don’t care about their community, it shows. "
  • Iam-psycho
"Dogs are really welcome anywhere as long as you maintain your dog and respect property with this said, dog owners are well respected to."
  • Eric N.
"it's a nice neighborhood on sylvan lake. close to both telegraph road and m 59 for easy access to work."
  • Kashii A.
" you need to drive. a car or uber or lyft is necessary. Otherwise you will have difficulty getting around. public transportation is not reliable "

"Only Charter schools. Only Sherif department. No city police. Crime is slowly on the decline. City is slowly rebuilding. "
  • Ericapichey
"Very dirty area and neighborhoods are not kept clean. There is also no parks or places to go with your family."
  • Naomi E.
"Small communities where there are playgrounds and personal corner markets. Shopping centers and restaurants and around the corner."
  • Ericapichey
"There are no parks in the area and no child friendly places in the area there is also not many places downtown to enjoy"
  • Naomi E.
"Not everyone follows the rules about leashing. So there are some strays. If you have a dog try to find a house with a fence so that you can keep stray dogs out, your dog and family safe."
  • Angela V.
"Easy access to surrounding city’s High School down the street, quiet neighborhood! City services are great .::garbage by 7:15am every Tuesday, awesome police presence "
  • Studio12345654321

  • Mike F.
"I would describe the commute as a very depressing I would also described it as a dangerous and very filthy"
  • Tojobie
"There are many areas with elderly residents. Most graduates move away after graduation. Some areas are being rebuilt and revitalized since the plants closed. Many residents are hopeful about the town's future."
  • Chrissy C.
"Be cautious of homeless people, and prostitution. Homeless people walk right up to anyone male or female! Prostitution is mostly at Baldwin & Caesar e. Chavez "
  • Sheri W.
"love Pontiac. and love all the cars you'll see. very beautiful and very friendly people in pontiac. I would suggest living there"
  • Tiffany P.
"I have lived here my whole life. I commute 25-30 minutes outside the city for work. I can just hop on 75 or Woodward which is real easy. "
  • Ivy D.
"it's barely dog's around the crime rate is outrageous but as long as you are to yourself you will be fine"
  • Hlaren813
"People are wonderful & we have dogs who watch out for us & others! My neighborhood is a great place with great neighbors. we are all like family!"
  • Jay F.
"I've lived in my new(to me)house for two and a half months.I love it.My neighbors are trustworthy with packages."
  • Stephanie Matthews
"I was born and raised in Herrington Hills in Pontiac, MI right by the Silverdome. This neighborhood has always been one of the best. I had a great childhood here and my nephews had a great childhood here too. I walk my dog 1am in the morning sometimes and no one messes with me. Most of the ppl that live in this subdivision has known each other for years. Many family members live right next to each other. It’s quiet at night and we band together and get rid of the bad, ratchet ppl when they try to move in."
  • Christina S.
"I lived her the bulk of my life like the rest of the people in this neighborhood and people take pride in how their home looks "
  • Brad M.
"This area is quaint. More than meets the eye. When looking at the neighborhood you wouldn't think it's very much. There is a current renovation project going on in the homes there and I feel that the more people for these homes, the more surprised they'll be with how amazing the area is. "
  • Walkertraneasha1
"I've live here all my life and it's not hard to make friend or I just stay to myself and I will luv to get alone with my neighbors and I'm and very clean person and I like thing neat."
  • Micah37
"Does not have fenced in yard. Breed restrictions are overboard. As well as weight. Other than that it’s not bad. "
  • Tinatinkrose1972
"I've lived here for 4 years.. I've gotten to know a lot of the neighbors. It's a really nice neighborhood.."
  • Hannah C.
"The roads are the very worst around and the traffic lights were timed by monkeys. I mean they stop the main road for an extraordinarily long period of time for a little side area (businesses and small housing areas). "
  • Johnthebaptist7
"Each other. This is a very well tight netted community, with it’s own parks,, clubhouse, nature trail, lakes for fishing, swimming, boating etc."
