Gunlock built many homes in Bear Valley Springs, his homes were popular due to the open floorplan and functional as well as luxurious design. If buyer wishes to build according to their own design, the site is level, compacted, and water meter is installed. Mountain views, valley views are yours. Hiking trails and open space nearby. The home site overlooks a lovely wooded valley and Bear Mountain and open space beyond. Bear Valley Springs is a gate-guarded, 25,000-acre mountain community with 110 miles of paved roads and a fifth of the community is set aside for open space. Amenities include golf, tennis, the use of two lakes, a 47-acre equestrian center with multiple arenas, 35 miles of dedicated trails (also used for hiking), two campgrounds, indoor work-out center, sauna, spa, Olympic-size pool, country club and more. Kern County fire department and our own police department are also part of our community.
