Neighborhood Description

You can’t even imagine the beauty and serenity that await you as you drive into Northampton for the first time. Northampton boasts almost 1700 homes and yet it’s still growing. We have several parks, ponds, playgrounds, pavilions and three neighborhood pools. Our neighborhood swim team is the award-winning Cudas with over 200 swimmers each year. There are numerous tennis courts and more on the way that are lit at night to enable playing when it’s convenient to you. We also have two fully stocked workout rooms, one in Northampton and one in Auburn Lakes, where again you can workout on your own schedule. One thing you’ll notice right away in Northampton (besides the gigantic pine trees and azaleas everywhere!) are the large front lawns and wide streets that encourage lots of walkers, joggers and kids on bikes. Since all three of our public schools (Northampton, Hildebrandt and Klein Oak) are clustered together and connected to Northampton, many of the children walk to school or ride their bikes on the streets that are all zoned to 20 m.p.h. After school, you’re sure to see the same children attending Scout meetings in the clubhouses, playing sports on the school fields, or just playing on the playgrounds or along the trails of Willow Creek.
