"They would like the quiet neighborhood and the nice space needed to walk in many different areas. Also very close to the trail. "
  • Allan R.
"The neighborhood has friendly, generous people who watch out for each other. I lived in the area for 14 years, left for 14 years and am b back as a retiree as I liked it so much. Services are close-by with great shopping to boot."
  • Allan R.
"I lived in this neighborhood for 14 years during the late 1980s to near 2000. I moved to another state to keep my job, moving back to WI in 2013, living in another community as I could not find a suitable home for sale in my old West Bend neighborhood. Fortunately, a suitable home became available in 2020 so we bought it and moved back. We really appreciate our new friendly neighbors and the convenience of having medical, retail stores and other services important to us so close to our home, many within walking distance. Neighbors here watch out for each other and extend a helping hand when we ask for it. It is hard to find places like this as my many years of experience demonstrate."
  • Allan R.
"We've lived in West Bend for 16 years, 14 years followed by living 14 years in the South. We have returned in retirement because of the friendly people and relatives in the area. Our immediate neighbors are especially great, always willing to chat and help out if we need or want it. Shopping here is pretty good is the availability of other services at moderate prices."
  • Jakechmielewski
"The parks are great and the German fest is nice as well. It’s a quiet neighborhood full of great people who look after one another "
  • Unspecified
"The summer time music on main is what I love about my community and the people are really nice and helpful"
  • Jrbarrett03
"Great neighborhood whether you’re a family with all ages, or a newlywed couple, single starting your career, or empty nesters!"
  • Kate L.
"Great neighborhood we’re neighbors watch out for each other. Lots of kids all ages, with close proximity to Decorah and the High School. "
  • Wbragtopgal
"Friendly neighborhood with large park!! Located near shopping. Walking distance to restaurants, stores, strip mall, gas stations. "
  • Alyssa M.
"Many others out walking dogs. Open space to let them run. Many walking trails nearby. Most homes have fenced yards as well. "
  • Austin R. B.
"I've lived here for all my life up until last year. It's a nice quiet neighborhood with no real issues. "
  • Trishamaas
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years. I like the convenience to stores and other errands I may need to run. I have friendly neighbors "
  • msljburke g. c.
"My elderly mother lives in this neighborhood. It's very well-kept, people walk their dogs all of the time, people are friendly and say, "Hello" when you walk by. It's nearby lots of different types of stores and health care centers. The DMV is just down the road. There's on street parking in addition to the parking by the condos. Because it's a cul-de-sac, there is very little traffic."
  • tina_mitchell
"If you want to have all the amenities of being in the city, but like to have your own nature retreat to come home to, this is the place for you! Close to Downtown West Bend, easy access to the freeway, friendly neighbors, and short walk to beautiful parks and great schools."
