Renovations to the property have proceeded since purchase in 2013. 500 sq. ft. loft space above barn has been finished and is now rented with a yearly lease. 300 sq. ft. deck added to loft space. Greenhouse upgraded, with chicken coop added. 60k window system purchased and ready for install to main house, to provide a "wall of windows" that will open to a (planned) new deck. All day sunshine combines with a passive solar/radiant floor to provide comfortable living. Solar panels installed on main house and garage, providing constant power and tiny electric bill (we only have a bill because the power company charges us for having a solar system, we don't actually pay for electricity). Water from a well drilled to the aquifer below. Wood burning stove for extra heat on cold nights, 2 yr supply of firewood. 2 car garage and passive solar heated workshop. Unbelievable views to the south, with unobstructed line of sight to Pike's Peak, and only a 2700 acre ranch between you and National forest. Located on 10 very private acres southwest of Denver, 45 minutes to downtown and 1 hour to airport. Neighbors that you don't see, and most days without man-made sounds. Abundant wildlife. Can be used as a primary residence or rental. We currently use the home as our residence for about 2 months of the year, with AirBnB rentals the remaining months (generating yearly average of 30k income each of the last 3 years). Loft currently used for long term lease with tenant caretaking between short term rentals in the main house. We could potentially help you manage the AirBnB rentals after sale, please inquire.

The community here is like nothing I've ever experienced, with annual neighborhood block parties, halloween hay rides for the kids, Christmas parades, BBQ festivals, live music. I used to live in a subdivision (in Parker and Superior), and the vibe up here in Conifer is completely different. All of my neighbors would sacrifice their weekend and bend over backwards to help me, and I would do the same for them. If you want to be left alone, there's plenty of space to do that up here. If you want a tight knit community where you know the names of the hardware store employees and see your friendly neighbors at the grocery store, this it it. This really is the perfect place to call home, for all ages."
