About this House

Sonrisa Cottage is a beautifully updated 440 sq. ft. Casiita situated on a small 5 acre farm with mountain amd vineyard views that is one of the first country properties outside of the city of Petaluma.

We completly updated this space a year ago so that it has a fresh, modern and bright vibe. It is a studio cottage, so we are only looking to have one person or a couple who get along really well living in this space. A pet cat or backyard chickens, rabbit...could be a concideration, but would need to be a conversation.

 The interior walls are a hand textured adobe design. All the shelving in the interior is open. The kitchen counter and sink are new and custom made for this space. We have a small fridge in the kitchen right now that is yours to use or you can bring in a larger fridge ( your call). The Heater/Ac is new and is a split unit that has climate control. A small dedicated apartment washer and dryer are locate in the hall closet. The studio is shown furnished, but comes unfurnished. We are considering putting a small storage space next to the cottage, so that could be a discussion to have too.

The outside area has two large covered porches, which create a great indoor/ outdoor feel. The front yard is open to the driveway, parking and larger property. The backyard is private and enclosed.
The 2 person soaking tub on the back porch has hot water piped in and is AMAZING! Design wise, the backyard is zero scaped to be drought friendly and has young citrus trees and decidous trees bordering it with permiculture planting beds for veggies, herbs/ medicinals. The backyard also has a firepit, lawn and Pergola too! General yard maintnence is provide for by owner.
