If I were reading some of the old reviews on here, I’d be hesitant to have my child go to PBMS. But the poor reviews are old and not a reflection of the school as it stands today. Under the leadership of Principal Livingston, the school has made vast improvements. Fights at school are way down. There is a much greater emphasis on education and for the students to strive to do their best. The teachers are very caring, and there are several support systems in place. Grades and assessments scores are rising, too. PBMS has undergone quite the transition in the last few years and is headed down a positive road.

The principal at this school is horrible. If I didn't love my daughter's teacher, we probably would have changed schools. So sad that the teachers are great but the administrations sucks. Unfortunately there is a lot of bullying at this school as well. And there is a huge lack of communication.

I had one son who graduated from there in the honors and Cambridge courses, and he is in his final year in college. My other son is beginning sophomore year, and is in the engineering magnet and taking Cambridge courses. The building has made a vast improvement for the learning environment. Great teachers and supportive staff make a huge difference.
