I hate this school my sister almost got left at the school not letting her to get on bus 3 I hate this school if you are reading this and you are new to Hempstead DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL ITS AND THEY SAID wE tAkE gOoD cArE oF yOuR cHiLdReN KO THEY ALMOST LOST MY SISTER DONT SEND YOUR CHILDREN

This school is overly controlling and unsafe. Students aren’t allowed snacks, sweet drinks, or phones, yet teachers are allowed to be on their phones during class. Students also can’t join clubs unless they complete 30 hours of IXL, which limits opportunities instead of helping students.Safety and communication are serious issues. During a lockdown involving an active threat, students were not properly informed, and some were sent back to class while the lockdown was still active. This is unacceptable.Discipline is excessive—students have been kept locked in classrooms over minor issues like exit tickets, even when teachers start class late.A bus driver has listened to racist content about Hispanic people and drives recklessly, yet nothing has been done. A student’s missing bracelet from the bus was also ignored. The lack of accountability and concern for students is alarming.

Administrators will do absolutely anything to make this school look good. They give passing grades to failing students and don’t care about doing the right thing in any situation. Administrators and district admin are perfectly dishonest and abusive. Children are not safe here and they bully or bribe them to remain silent. The district will always support misconduct and abuse. Don’t enroll your children in this district if you care about them.
