6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagespeaking as a graduate I can say honestly that I was very fortunate to attend a school where the VAST majority of the teachers cared greatly for the education (as well as personal growth) of the students in attendance. I may even go so far as to say the school would have been perfect if it weren't for the despondence of a number of students in the grades below myself (and perhaps a few guilty parties in my class as well). At any rate, its arts and music programs are fantastic and nurturing, and the availability of alternative classes such as philosophy is unparalleled in the area. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe children are not challenged, we recently moved to the area and though a quiet country school near a major university would be more cutting edge but it's not. The academic rigors are that of the status quo, parents who are NOT high school graduates much less college graduates and a former principal (who they recently promoted to interim superintendent) who send LMS out mass emails with multiple misspellings and grammatical errors.
