One of my kids is currently attending Bay High School, and the other graduated after receiving a fantastic education through the AICE program. The AICE director and counselors have been incredibly helpful, supportive, and easy to work with throughout the years. Although we were zoned for a different high school, it quickly became clear—by the second day of the school year—that it wasn’t going to be the right fit for my child. I reached out to Mrs. Bland, the AICE director at Bay High, on a Friday afternoon. To my surprise and relief, she responded almost immediately with a clear explanation of the transfer process and timeline. She had mentioned things could be ready by Monday or Tuesday, but I was amazed to receive a follow-up email from her the very next day—on a Saturday—confirming that everything was in place for my child to start on Monday morning. It was such a reassuring and encouraging experience, and I knew right then that we had made the right choice. It was truly a great start.Every teacher they’ve had has been dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed to their students’ success. I’d like to especially commend the AP Calculus teacher, whose passion for teaching and ability to explain complex concepts made a significant impact. Bay High’s academic environment and the dedication of its staff have truly prepared my kids for college and beyond.

I've always heard that this was a terrible school with the laziest teachers in the bay county school system. Well now i know first hand that it's true. It's the winter months now and all or most kids have a little cold or runny nose, well these teachers will send kids home that are not sick at all and I've heard that they think it's a game amongst themselves to see how many kids they can send home on any given day. shame on you Cedar Grove elementary !!!!!!

My daughter went to this school and had loads of trouble she was testing college level but was always in trouble because she was not being challenged so dispite getting 4s and 5s on fast testing she would end up getting bad grades in class because she was constantly being kicked out of school for weeks at a time until I talked to the board of education and then they started trying to work with her finally. They definitely won't do anything to help if you don't go over their head. My daughter was suspended out of school for a week once for looking at someone funny. The teachers are absolutely ridiculous and the office allows this nonsense. Good luck if you have a child that goes here.
