"You see people walking dog and jogging all the time. Also during summer night taking a walk on the boardwalk is nice."
  • Trulia User
"Our neighborhood arranges local food trucks to come every couple of weeks. We have community picnics. "
  • Donna P.
" I don't know of any. There is construction doing on.There is piles of dirt outback.Bbut it has been quite lately. "
  • Donnie B.
"Better than living in VA if you are working at Andrews, JBAB, or CGHQ. Easy drive down 4 to Suitland."
  • Stefanie S.
"The neighborhood we live in is super family and pet friendly and most neighbors are close. A real family here."
  • Frank K.
"Great access to everything in the area and having the market makes it easy if you need something quick "
  • Nancy E.
"It takes a long time just to get to Prince Frederick from here. There aren’t any suitable walking areas or suitable bus stops. "
  • Michelle65a
"We live next to a cute bay side town. I can get to DC, Virginia, and the Eastern Shore fairly quickly. And the communities are growing around here. "
  • Rbigson1972
"It's a nice neighborhood, people are friendly and look out for one another. Super close to the water so there's a few beaches, the boardwalk and lots of cool places to grab a bite to eat"
  • Michelle65a
"my neighborhood is in the woods and the traffic is bad and noisy. Two bicyclists were hit and killed on my road. "
  • billyjohnson
"The Schools in the county are the best in the state and they people are very friendly. My wife and I enjoy strolls to the beach and dining at some of the local restaurants. The selection is limited for dining and nightlife but the piece of mind for safety and ambience makes up for it. My only issues are that public transportation is limited so you must have a vehicle to manuever and that most stores like walmart, larger supermarkets, and shops are at least 15 min away. The town has a local supermarket and some smaller shops, but to get fast food and/or go shopping you must drive. I'm a city kid and grew up in a large metropolitan area and i can say its the total opposite. I enjoy the quite and quaint feel of the area. The commute to DC is not that bad for work you can drive to the metro or catch commuter bus. All in all i was looking for nice neighborhood and piece of mind and in chesapeake beach I may just have found it!! "
  • Bonnie O. D.
"A great Place to raise a Family, Retire, and or meet people. Town features slots, waterpark, several Boardwalks, Boating and Beaches! Come see for yourself!"
