I attended this school throughout my entire elementary education, and now my children have attended here on and off over the years. Unfortunately, my experience as both a former student and now a parent has left me disappointed.The school seems to offer very few activities and opportunities for students compared to what I would expect. I’ve also had negative experiences with the attitude and professionalism at the front desk. Even when I ask basic questions because I genuinely don’t know the answer, I’ve felt met with a snarky attitude instead of patience and helpfulness. It has made communication feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable.As I’ve advocated for my children, I’ve felt increasingly unwelcome over the year's rather than supported. Parents should be able to ask questions and speak up for their children without feeling dismissed or treated differently.It’s also been difficult knowing that some of the teachers who did not treat me well as a child are now teaching my own children. That has created an uncomfortable conflict for me as a parent and has made it harder to feel confident that my children will be treated fairly.The building itself is old, small, and in need of updates. While facilities aren’t everything, they do contribute to the overall learning environment.Because of my experiences, I seriously considered homeschooling my children this year and even completed the enrollment process as a backup because I was so hesitant to send them back.I genuinely hope this upcoming school year is different. I’m not writing this review to discourage others, but to share my experience and express my hope that the school becomes a more welcoming place where parents feel respected, students are supported, and concerns are addressed with professionalism.

This school year has been a cluster the 5/6 grade program has no accountability and teachers are rude to students. They say they are prepping them for middle school but it looks like our children are test subjects. I received no grades for the first quarter and the parent teacher conference was a joke.

Most of my children have attended school here. Over the past year, I have experienced repeated concerns involving the school and related agencies that have caused significant stress for my family.This school year alone, I have had two OCS-related calls made regarding my sons. These situations have added unnecessary stress and disruption to our home life.When my children are sick, I have received repeated calls and texts from multiple numbers stating that my children are in immediate danger. In one recent instance, my child had just been taken to the ER with a fever of 104. Despite this, I was told they were “missing school,” even though children with high fevers are not medically able to attend.Additionally, my son’s lunch was stolen at school, which was concerning and upsetting for him.Last year, my son reported being verbally mistreated by a teacher. This concern was brought forward at the time, but I feel it was not adequately addressed or resolved. This year, since there is a new teacher, I had to address the situation again. Since then, I have finally begun to see my son participating in classroom activities more consistently.
