5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am currently an 8th grader this year. I have been appreciating this school since i was in 6th grade. I hold my heads high every time I walk out of that school because I know that they work hard to help all of their students. I have learned a lot from this school. They discipline you, they teach you everything they know. They support you with anything. They will give advice on anything you need. Every time I walk out of those doors, I see teachers staying late just to review things with some students who couldn't process some things. This school is a second home, we all treat each other equally and we never leave people behind. The graduating class of 2014 got into several good high schools such as LaGuardia, Baruch, Beacon and some even got a scholarship for boarding schools. The reason why those freshmans are where they are standing right now, its because this school gave everything they have to help students. - a current student at NSLAOther Review11y ago10 Reviews - International School for Liberal Arts

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy school is located at the Walton Campus. It is the only school that requires uniforms so it helps prevent gang activity within the school. It offers four AP classes also college now classes. There's someone in charge that deals with internships and scholarships. There are volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and tennis teams for each gender. Something unique is that my school is bilingual and offers opportunities to perfect more than just one language.Other Review12y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 2405 Devoe Ter.

"The neighborhood is too noisy and too expensive. I live in a house and the driveway is always being blocked by the neighbors next door. Garbage thrown on the sidewalks and people don’t clean up after their dogs."

"This area is very nice. I live in Fordham Terrace., until you walk across University into Fordham. Then youll see a lot of activity you may not be comfortable with. There are a lot of Hills and Parks. The major shopping areas are Fordham and Riverdale. Fordham has more of the major stores. But if you want to avoid a lot of traffic and lessen you chance of getting mugged you might want shop on Riverdale. "

"There is some crime and loud noise during the afternoon's and evenings. Devoe park and restaurants in the area tend to be rowdy. This area will hopefully improve overtime, but that time can't come fast enough. "
